There are few required essential for doing under-graduation courses in German Universities. A student opting to study undergraduate course have to do a bridge program to compensate for 13 years of apprenticeship in Germany compared to 12 years of school education in India. To be eligible for the bridging course, students from India are required to have an excellent academic record up to Senior Secondary Level (10 + 2) and must have basic knowledge of the German language (G III Level of Max Mueller Bhavans).
After accomplishment of the following bridge program, students are recommended to pass an assessment test in order to get admission into a German institution for the equivalent of the Bachelor's degree. Notably, Students who have cleared the IIT Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) will be exempted from the assessment test.
